Founded in 1991, the estate is located in a privileged area of 900 hectares in the Serranía de Ronda mountains.

The initial project was to build 3,000 homes but its ideologist, Mr. Enrique Pérez Flores (today Honorary Chairman of the Company) decided upon 420. The effort to reduce the total number of permitted homes has gained international recognition and guarantees a low building density. This means that today, the properties are surrounded by dense vegetation with views of two 18-hole golf courses as well as the Mediterranean Coast.

Nowadays across its 230 built plots ranging between 3,000m2 and 10,000m2 we can find magnificent villas architecturally and technologically adapted to the highest market standards. As part of its commitment to excellence, Zagaleta is acquiring houses for sale and adapting them to the current highest standards. It is an ambitious plan which helps to consolidate the values of the brand.

Zagaleta has a complete internal road infrastructure and numerous services such as the equestrian club with 23 stables and 4 tracks available for adults and children, as well as inter alia tennis and paddle courts, hiking trails, biking trails, and a helipad. This is Valderrama II, an estate with 220 hectares, acquired last year by the company.
