Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía becomes partner of Círculo Fortuny.
With this last admission, the association brings together seven prestigious cultural institutions with worldwide recognition: Museo Nacional del Prado, Museo Thyssen-Bornemisza, Gran Teatre del Liceu, Teatro Real, Fundación Casa Ducal de Medinaceli and Fundación Museo Sorolla. When the Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía opened its doors in 1990, it stood as a modern, contemporary Spanish museum on an international scale. The Museum joins Círculo Fortuny as Honorary Member due to its national e international recognition.
In 2015, the institution was for the third consecutive year, the most visited museum in Spain, reaching a record high of 3.257.044 visitors.
